Joss Whedon Interview 2002
friendlyatheist: The Onion: Is there a God? Joss Whedon: No. O: That’s it, end of story, no? JW: Absolutely not. That’s a very important and necessary thing to learn. I knew there was a reason I loved Whedon’s work ;)

Real Time with Bill Maher (and Sam Harris)
Bill Maher: How did you get to that place? Because most people are raised religiously. How did you get to where you are, and what advice would you give to kids today who wanna break into atheism?
Sam Harris: Well, I started there, and that's kind of the point.
Bill Maher: You did?
Sam Harris: Yeah, unless you're indoctrinated at some point early on -- it's kind of like smoking -- you tend not to pick it up later in life.
Bill Maher: As a child, you were an atheist?
Sam Harris: Atheism has no content. Being an atheist is like being a non-astrologer. No one gets taught to be a non-astrologer. You just don't get convinced by astrology.

I’ve seen a lot of these Downfall paradies (all after seeing the actual movie). This is by far the best. Also I do recommend renting the movie. It’s very good.

On full-screen iPhone web apps
mrgan: This assumes you have an interest in developing websites/web apps for the iPhone, and that you’re comfortable doing so. Did you know webpages can be made completely chromeless on the iPhone? By “chromeless” I mean that a page can specify it should be shown without the navigation bar at the top and toolbar at the bottom (the status bar is there to stay, and you can’t change its color). ...
